Children’s Health Check
Back to ResearchSign up today for a children’s health check!
Are you a parent of a child aged 3-13 years old, registered with a GP in central London? Did you know you are eligible for a one-time children’s health check?
Starting in June 2023, Healthcare Central London and Central London Healthcare are running the first-of-its-kind child health clinic Within the session, a nurse will complete physical checks and reviews. This will be a unique opportunity to discuss any concerns regarding your child’s health and to get support with their future wellbeing.
The check up will include eyes, ENT, socialisation, sleeping, eating, height and weight, skin, allergies, and any other health issues. There is no clinical intervention or referring – if this is needed advice and signposting is given. Immunisations will also be discussed and if required the patient can be signposted.
Please contact your GP to get booked in.
When: Mondays-Fridays, 9:30am – 5pm
Location: South Westminster Centre, St Georges House, 82 Vincent Square, London SW1P 2PF
All attending children are eligible to do a screening test for type 1 diabetes. This is completed by a simple finger stick blood test but it is completely your choice if you would like us to do this in the session. Please note, children with no family history of diabetes are still at risk of developing diabetes. This simple screening can indicate whether or not your child is at risk in the future. Note: Following a business transfer on April 1st 2023, the primary services of Central London Healthcare CIC now sit within the Healthcare Central London Limited Company. Training and research projects remain under Central London Healthcare.
