Dr Clare Orrom Swan

Dr Clare is a GP Partner at Fitzrovia Medical Centre, where she has worked since 2016 and became a partner in 2020. She trained in Bristol and completed her GP training on the Whittington GP Scheme. Alongside her clinical work, she is a GP Trainer, supporting medical students and GP trainees, and has a strong interest in collaborative, patient-centred care.

At Primary Care Network (PCN) level, Clare sits on the West End and Marylebone Board and is the PCN Lead for the CC4C Child Health Hub, as well as the PCN Communications Lead. She is also the named Safeguarding Lead for Healthcare Central London (HCL) and Central London Healthcare (CLH).

Since January 2025, Clare has been the Clinical Lead for Additional and Enhanced Access services for HCL and is also part of the Access Board. She enjoys working closely with practices and teams to support service delivery and day-to-day problem solving.

Clare sees general practice as a vital part of supporting patients’ health and wellbeing, and values the opportunity to make a meaningful difference within her community. Through her work with HCL, she is motivated by the chance to support and shape positive change, helping services evolve in a way that benefits both patients and practices.

As a new Board member, Clare is excited about the opportunity ahead and looks forward to working with HCL colleagues and fellow Board members to continue supporting practices and delivering high-quality care for patients.
