Sedra Abu-Moustafa

After a 16 year career in retail, Sedra joined general practice as a practice manager in the early stages of the pandemic in 2020. Her Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Forensic Science has instilled a passion in making a difference at the heart of healthcare – where every patient’s journey truly begins. Sedra values the opportunity to work closely with the primary care departments to help create a smooth and compassionate experience for patients.

She became chair of St Johns Wood & Maida Vale Primary Care Network in 2024 to support and lead neighbouring practices in achieving its goals around integrated care, workforce wellbeing and planning as well as the delivery of national and local health priorities.

Sedra believes general practice is more than just a job – it’s a chance to contribute to a service that is foundational to people’s well-being with the aim in helping to shape its future in a time of change and innovation.

She joined the CLH/HCL board in April 2025.
