Clinical study for adults with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of an investigational study drug,  lunsekimig, in adults living with COPD. This study will compare the effects of the investigational study drug and placebo while you are still taking your usual COPD medications.

To be eligible for this study, you must: 

  1. Be aged 40 to 80 years old 
  2. Have had a diagnosis of COPD for at least 1 year 
  3. Be a current or former smoker 
  4. Have had at least 2 exacerbations of COPD in the last year or have been hospitalized in the last year for an exacerbation of COPD 
  5. Be taking daily treatments for your COPD

An Ethics Committee (EC) protects the rights, safety, and well being of study participants. An EC has reviewed this study.
